Now that Chicago has officially been teased with a few 75 degree days, I felt that it was appropriate to now tease you with a few summer outfits. After all, now is the time to start planning those summer work appropriate outfits. Just as in the winter you have to dress prepared to tackle the heat blasts in your office, in the summer you must prepare for the arctic air conditioning that will most likely come out of the vent above your head.
The best way to prepare for these summer days (that I so anxiously am looking forward to) and unexpected changes in office temperature is to plan your outfit. At first it might be tricky but once you get down the basics of planning this type of outfit you will be pleasantly surprised with how much easier it is to get dressed. The focus of this outfit is going to be what your wearing on top; I suggest a t-shirt or blouse with a sweater over it. This allows for the sweater to be put on and taken off depending on the temperature- make sure you are wearing something work-appropriate under your sweater. If you pair your top with matching trousers and a few accessories you will be planning outfits with ease and not to mention comfort in your office.
