Toast to Tuesday: Coffee to Cocktails – Build off Your Business Wardrobe for a Night on the Town

It’s never easy to plan for an early morning at the office followed by a late night with the girls. So therefore, it is extremely important to leave time to plan out your outfit whether it be the night before or early the morning of. When planning, things become much easier if you build off your everyday work basics and add accessories later to take your work look from confident and professional to fun and flirty.

Also, think about what your friends will be wearing – they will either be in your situation and have to come straight from the office. Or they may be part of the lucky few who have time to primp before meeting you out. Don’t fall back on your situation, but rather take advantage of it as you can be just as stylish as your girlfriends who have time to prep while still having a productive day at work. Once you have the basics figured out, add shoes that won’t slow you down or at worse cause blisters, but will keep you comfortable and punctual, and all the while looking fabulous. In your work bag you can bring along extra supplies for emergency touch-ups or even an extra pair of earrings to make the transition smooth and easy.

Keep in mind when planning for your work to evening look, that you are dressing for work and building off a professional look for the evening, not the other way around. Following these guidelines will guarantee that you will never be off point during the work day and you will always be fashionable in the evening.

I think I own everything you featured in this post but haven't worn them all together. And I live for blue eye shadow, such a great twist/option than a traditional smokey eye.
