Toast to Tuesday: Bra Optional? Never.

If you are a full busted woman like myself (thank you Grandma), you know that a bra is never a choice; in fact, its more like a permanent piece of clothing you have super glued to your body at all times. If you are a runway model, ballerina, or simply a flat chested woman then you may think you have the option of wearing a bra to work. I’m going to come right out and say that you absolutely do not have that option. I can completely understand why one might choose to stay off the bra wagon when she feels like she can get away with it. After all, who likes the feeling of wearing a harness all day? But, as we are women, this is something that we each have to face no matter if  you have mosquito bites or watermelons.

At work, you should never take the risk of having anything show through your shirt. As a female, there is no forgiving the woman who wears a white button down to work with just a cami underneath – or even worse, nothing! I know how freeing it can feel to go bra-less but, that is much more acceptable when your at home on the couch watching 90210 reruns rather then working with professionals in an office setting. So if you wake up one morning feeling lazy enough to consider skipping the whole bra situation just remember: It is totally not worth being the girl who has flashed the entire office for the rest of her career!
