One of the most popular posts on TheWorkingWardrobe focuses on the color wheel and how men can apply it to their working wardrobes. I felt this set from TheWorkinWardrobe Polyvore Group put together by user professionality was the perfect follow-up to that post! Now to decide which tie is my favorite. Gentlemen: Express yourselves… Read more…

I practically live in blazers. They are more professional than the cardigan, and more structured than an actual jacket. (Can you tell I’m getting excited for Fall?) This Theory blazer is absolutely adorable, plus yellow happens to be my favorite clothing color.

I apparently am in a yellow mood this week, as I posted a yellow lace skirt and top on Monday, and now I’m posting a yellow blazer. Yellow is such a happy color that it just must be incorporated into your work wear! Plus the Theory blazer is a working woman’s business staple! Pair it… Read more…

I do love featuring in my Coveted Working Looks series various pieces and outfits that inspire creativity to add to the working wardrobe. These may include items and looks that may not be considered a regular part of business attire, however they can definitely be incorporated into it through additions or edits. I made a shocking discovery today – I have no blazers! Well, I do, but not in the most professional sense. I used to have my go-to black blazer but I gave it away after having too many wears and years behind it. I primarily wear wrap cardigans, cap-sleeved blazers and statement jackets to work… Read more…

Our favorite work looks today center around ingenuity. It’s so refreshing when you can take a basic piece and turn it into that one item that makes the outfit. For example, this office vest by Theory one would think could only be worn over a button-down shirt and matching slacks. However paired with a romantic… Read more…

We all talk about the “work to evening” attire, and I think this Mac & Jac rose print skirt hits it on the mark. I love the three looks presented to show how to wear this at the office, at a casual day away from the office, and at a hip restaurant or lounge in… Read more…
