Oh how I envy each of you who get to experience an internship in the state of California as it is such a wonderful place. The vibe in San Francisco is not the same as the one in Los Angeles, so if you were thinking you could just wear something super trendy with buckles and zippers you were sadly mistaken. San Francisco while still an incredible city to intern in, has a different set of styles and moves then Los Angeles.

If you were to intern in San Francisco there is one ohhhh so very important thing to remember. FLATS. There is a different reason behind the critical pair of flats in San Fran then in NYC. Reason being, imagine running around doing errands all day (NY)- okay now think about running up and down hills all day doing errands (San Fran); so you get the point. As the weather is not always warm it is important to plan for cool weather, I suggest a turtleneck tucked into a pair of J Brand skinnies. Lastly, add a scarf, messenger bag, and pair of sunglasses and your all set to take over the city!
