So if you get placed in New Mexico for an internship you may be like woah, what a minute how did I end up here? And although its not New York and its not LA, it still has a little Mexican flavor of its own. Internship styles of dress vary in a place like New Mexico where it is often acceptable to pull off something a little more rustic then you would normally be able to in an office setting.

Something like a ciarra Mexican blanket bag would be totally appropriate in New Mexico where as it would be very hard to pull it off in New York City, at least to the office. When creating your outfit try to stick with earthy tones, after all you will be in the desert. Try a sweater with something underneath to prepare for any changes in temperature at the office and definitely wear a pair of boots!
