From the Classroom to the Cubicle: The Denver Intern

As a college student your idea of Denver may be of things you have heard from your friends like, “You can get drunk faster there because of the altitude.” While this may be true, there are other things to consider when choosing to take on an internship in this city. For example, it’s part of the West Coast, which is fairly laid back area with lots of sunshine, beautiful mountains and of course slight altitude changes. Sounds pretty much perfect doesn’t it? It just might be the right fit for you depending on the opportunity at hand.

I think that the perfect outfit for a Denver intern would be something simple but still professional. J Brand skinnys are always a good way to go as an intern. A collared shirt like the one above by Elizabeth and James with a thick belt adds a professional look without being too rigid. Match your belt to your shoes with a pair of brown ballet flats and, of course, sunglasses are a must in this city!
