From the Classroom to the Cubicle: Attention Fall 2010 Interns!

It is almost that time for those of you who are interning this fall to get started! This can be a scary time, full of “what if’s” and nervousness. Fear not! Often times on the first day, you will be given an explanation of your duties and you will get the hang of it soon after that.

Now the question is, what to wear? Well, this fall we are seeing a lot of color – especially army green. I suggest something simple; depending on your dress code you may need to switch items in and out of the sample above. Try a skinny jean (or black pant) with an army green blazer. Include a chunky watch and brown bag to keep the color scheme in tact. This is a great first day outfit that is professional while still being youthful. Nervous about your first day on the job?
