My publishing consultant and dear friend, Tenisha Anderson of Qlix Magazine and Ten Style Media, Inc., has a slight obsession with J. Crew. Scratch that – she has a definite obsession with J. Crew! Granted, she has good reasons to be so and has even converted me to become a fan despite my pre-judgement that it was a preppy brand left in the land of pop-up collars and khaki pants.
One of my favorite men’s fashion sites, Mr. Porter, showcased over 90 items on its site featuring J. Crew menswear in one of their email newsletters this week. Mr. Porter (the male counterpart to Net-a-Porter) wouldn’t post fashions that are anything less than fabulous, so imagine my yet again humble admittance that Tenisha was right. J. Crew, you have style.
