The Working Man: Spring Work Wear for Men

by Rachel Yeomans | March 21st, 2012

We can all agree that this spring has actually sprung…in fact it seems summer is playing with spring in the same playground! Not that we’re complaining, but it does take some wardrobe adjustment when it comes to what we wear to work. And it’s not just about layers, it’s about colors too. We’ve done the all black and gray tones – now it’s time to insert some color. However we have to be careful not to be too sunny quite yet – it is still March by the way.

Men usually have the least amount of flexibility when dressing for work. In fact, spring work wear for men can be even more difficult. Here are some looks and pieces that I feel bring a lot of fashion forward, while bridging the gap (quite skillfully) between winter and spring. I bring you colors and strategic layers, and if your office allows to roll the pant cuffs slightly and wear your loafers in a more ‘relaxed’ fashion, then go for it! Otherwise these looks would look just as chic and be even more work appropriate with the pant cuffs rolled down. Now let’s spring to the meeting!
