As much as I adore high-waisted pants or the comfort and pizazz of the skinny jean, you just can’t tear me away from a fantastic dress. The knee-length shift is ever-flattering, ever-easy, and ever-fashionable. I adore the front pleat and corsage detailing of this Valentino shift. Plus the color you may remember from seeing all over the spring runways – so you know that you’ll be kicking it up in fashion through at least next spring.
As many who see me day in and day out at the office can attest to, color blocking is a standard in my attire. I also adore white dresses – I find them extremely clean, crisp and chic. Therefore this lovely number by Michael Kors I feel would make a statement in any office space. Pair a black fitted blazer or if you are feeling a bit artistic, a black turtleneck and red patent belt with this shift and instantly turn heads at the board meeting!
I remember seeing this dress at the designer’s show during Fashion Focus Chicago last year. I swooned then and I swoon still. This Abigail Glaum-Lathbury dress is so artistic, architectural, and just plain awesome! Again pair it with a turtleneck underneath for a different look; otherwise I see a darted heather brown or oatmeal cropped blazer. The possibilities are endless with style such as this!
