Starting tomorrow, all of our coveted working looks will be covered in real time during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. But I am so excited for the upcoming shows and events, that I had to share with you some of my favorite looks from a handful of this week’s featured designers!
Michael Angel earns first nod of my coveted working looks of the day in collections past. With a longer hemline (and luckily designers can manipulate their clothing to your working needs), this dress from the Michael Angel Spring 2010 collection would make an absolute gorgeous statement at the office. The colors and construction are stunning, and the addition of chunky jewelry is whipped icing on the delicious cake.
Not much is as crisp and professional as a button-down blouse tucked into a skirt. And this look from the Andy & Debb spring 2010 collection shows how iconic and beautiful this look can be. I’m immensely excited to see what the bring forth for their upcoming fall collection in the upcoming week.
And leave it to Nicole Miller to bring some fun and spunk into the everyday woman’s workwear. This top from her fall 2009 collection shows how just a little bit of zipper or just a bit of asymmetric detailing (or both!) adds just enough personality into your wardrobe to show off your attitude while still staying within dress code.
