Today’s Coveted Working Looks

by Rachel | January 7th, 2010

I have skinny jeans and I have leggings, but it has been so difficult finding a great pair of skinny pants. Both jeans and leggings aren’t the most professional of work attire, but a solid-colored pair of skinny pants with patent pumps and a belted grandfather cardigan or tucked-in turtleneck with statement belt and chain necklace could easily work at the office, and be quite stylish as well. These straight leg pants by Vince are perfect to fill that gaping hole in my wardrobe!

This leather tote by Botkier literally makes me so excited to walk into the office so my colleagues can stare in envy. I usually am not so obviously shallow, but there is something about having an amazing bag on your shoulder that causes you to resort to caddy. My apologies in advance. I also love the costume yet classy look of this Badgley Mischka bracelet. Nothing like bling and a bag to make the workday that much better.

I love how this FENDI dress not only looks classic and chic but also amazingly comfortable. As it’s made of jersey though, that doesn’t come as much of a surprise. I also have a weakness for anything with a cowl neck, so you can imagine the position this frock holds on my “coveted” list. Maybe soon it may leave my list and sashay its way into my wardrobe.

I love the post of a skinny pant...I see so many people wear leggings and there are a few times they can be "pulled off" but they definately are not first in line when you are looking to go professional
