These Tucker blouses are classic shirt styles, but each with a little surprise. Contrasting bands of color, pretty novelty prints, and bright colors make these perfect tops to add to your work wardrobe. Silky and feminine, while remaining basic enough to wear again and again, these blouses can pair with skirts and pants alike. The photos below highlight a few of my favorites. For the ones that are more flowy, pair them with a pair of boot-cut slacks with a belt and a blazer to add shape to your torso without cinching the fabric to make it look pulled.
With the lighter colors, choose either an all black suit to professionalize the look while keeping the color and ease of the top, or consider a white suit or dark bootcut jeans and a chocolate velour blazer for a Casual Friday spin. Speaking of casual, this cut of shirt is difficult to tuck in, so wear them on a casual Friday or in an office that doesn’t frown upon this blouse style.
For the more fitted tops (below), both of these tops would look extremely chic with a black straight-leg pantsuit. Even consider donning a pair of chunky costume pearls with the bottom image for some added bling. And if you would like to put a fun spin on the top image below, think about tucking it into a deep brown or mahogany leather pencil skirt with a skinny snakeskin belt. Add some nude hosiery and sheer black or nude round-toe pumps, and you have yourself one impressive outfit!
