Today’s Coveted Working Look: The Folding Bicycle
You may have already seen these intriguing contraptions pedaling around your city. They remind me almost like a smart car – but even greener! Today on one of my favorite fashion sale sites, Fab.com, the Strida 5.0 folding bicycle was featured as one of the site’s sales. Strida is a portable, belt-driven, folding bicycle, first released in 1987 and designed by UK engineer and designer Mark Sanders. I bring you, the latest version of a bicycle ideal for those living without much storage space.
Another great feature of the folding bicycle that I see, is that it has a belt in lieu of gears! So when you’re commuting to the office, you don’t have to worry about ruining that pant leg! I adored this image that Fab.com featured of two women (in very fashionable work attire I must say) folding and unfolding the bike based on the status of their day. Weighing in at 22 pounds, it also is much easier to lug up those flights of stairs!
