Today’s Coveted Working Look: The Comfortable Pump

by Rachel Yeomans | October 4th, 2011

Social Media Week spanned the world just a few weeks ago. I was fortunate enough to fit into a few panels and events between work and meetings, one of which was a panel on trade shows and social media. Two women were on the panel, and afterwards we did talk a bit about social media, but more so about footwear! Yes it’s amazing what you can do at events and conferences now with Twitter and Foursquare, but no one has solved the issue of aching feet at the end of the day. Here are several pumps and designers I swear by for days requiring me to be on my feet all day. And as the theme of this posts’ inspiration was social media, feel free to share your own favorites via comment, tweet, LinkedIn, or Facebook!

The Cole Haan Nike Air shoes are lifesavers! Other really comfy brands that I love are Anyi Lu (former nurse who now makes amazingly comfy and gorgeous shoes) and Arche (Paris brand for women who walk on cobblestone). I was told that I should also try Prada at some point because trial lawyers swear by them and they are on their feet all day. Who am I to question that logic? ;) www.arche-shoes.com (I have the Isbamas in bronze - seriously as comfie as tennis shoes and super hot!) http://www.anyilu.com/collection.html (I just got the grey/multi snake Tulipes -- Awesome!)
