If you’re anything like me, you operate under the assumption that a girl can’t own too many cardigans. Sometimes, however, I get tired of the traditional long-sleeved button-front variety. That’s where shawl collar cardigans come in! This Eileen Fisher cardigan is a basic style which pairs nicely with skirts or pants and would look great belted or left open.
Although similar in cut, this Quotation Cable Shawl Collar Cardigan offers a more textured look. The geometric pattern is a nice complement to the chunkier knit: perfect for a keep-you-warm winter wardrobe.
The pattern is what attracted me to this Marc by Marc Jacobs Babylon Stripe Cardigan. The 70s color palette coupled with the more structured collar and cuffed sleeves give it a bohemian vibe that would look great with a pencil skirt and heeled boots.
