One thing I love about cold weather clothing is the variety of textures available. By the time summer is wrapping up I can’t wait to pull out my tweed skirts and chunky wool sweaters. It’s no surprise then that I’m drawn to this J. Crew velvet schoolboy blazer, a classic piece updated in a rich velvet. The schoolboy blazer is offered in colors both basic—like black and brown—and bold, shades of poppy red and chartreuse for example.
