Today’s Coveted Working Look: BB Dakota Tween-Season Coats

by Rachel Yeomans | October 25th, 2011

It’s official…my winter coat has been extracted from the canvas wardrobe bag. Thus enters the annual conundrum. It’s too cold for my fall coat…but it’s not quite cold enough for my winter coat! Usually my solution is to wear two extra layers underneath my fall coat. Or I could bit the bullet and buy a ‘tween-season’ coat. How fitting that I came across this gorgeous BB Dakota coat on ModCloth. Have you ever owned a flap-collar coat and although you felt very fashionable, there was no protection against the cold breeze? The fact that this coat has a high-collar underneath the flap-collar made me extremely excited that I wouldn’t have to completely rely on my scarf for warmth!

I admit I am incredibly partial to clothing from BB Dakota. After discovering the coat above, I just had to see what other coats were out there in the collection. Here is what I came across, and pondering to add to my tween-season coat collection.

Now isn’t that productive!
