How much have you spent on a splurge? The acceptable (and very understood) answer to that question usually is, “Oh, not as much as I could have”. However behind that response is usually a heartbeat that speeds up just a little bit at the memory of how that item really was a bit too much than what you wanted to spend, and how you wish the memory of the cost would nestle next to the price tag in the garbage can.
That feeling for me seems to happen over and over again with Ruffian: the ever so gorgeous clothing line reminiscent of a grand Hitchcock film that I constantly convince myself I can’t live without. I truly have come to the point where I feel my presence at the office just wouldn’t be the same without Ruffian.
However, before a Ruffian intervention had to have taken place, Anthropologie came to my rescue. The less expensive off-shoot of Ruffian, Mise en Scene, is now available at Anthropologie both online and in stores. Instead of weaning myself off Ruffian and going through the depressive results, I can instead appease my Ruffian desire with the much more affordable Mise en Scene. Thank you Anthropologie and Ruffian for preventing my work paycheck from going entirely to my work clothing.
