I am proud to say that I had my first two meetings these past two days! I know it seems silly, but working from home full time after having two days out of the office can be a bit trying. So on Monday I met with the CASHHIMI, the exotic handbag brand (you’ll be seeing some of their bags in my upcoming magazine). Their studio is in the Space 530 – it just opened in August and it houses studio space for designers and brands. In fact, the space next to them was occupied by Zappos! Yes, I swooned.

The rest of the day I admit I laid on my futon with this MacBook on my lap doing work upon work. I admit I didn’t move from this spot until I forced myself make dinner at 9:30pm. Today hasn’t been too much different except after my morning conference call, I met with my good friend Nadia of Manchester PR for lunch! It was fabulous catching up and plotting about my magazine launch party in New York. Sorry, no spoilers. Then I endured the chaos that is Trader Joe’s in Union Square – even at off-hours that place is still a war zone! After battling for my groceries, I came back to the apartment and here you find me again, laptop on the lap. Apparently I am the same workaholic – just in a different city.
