All I can say is that Shrine Haberdashers know how to throw one stylish party. I feel honored to have been among the city’s most dapper men (and women) at the one-year anniversary party thrown for the luxury men’s accessory boutique. Guests gathered in the grand ballroom of the James Hotel to enjoy cocktails, delectable appetizers, vocal and dance performances and to end the enchanted evening, a men’s fashion presentation.
I have never been surrounded by so many well-dressed men. It was overwhelming but in the best possible way. I couldn’t help but stare as each man walked through the door. I think that ascots should be the new bow-tie for any working man; I’m just saying.
Guests enjoyed the musical stylings of local band Nakeder Clothed. The lead singer’s voice was beyond stellar! Also at the end of the evening, I was excited to watch the dancers and choreography done by my friend Mr. Jason Laws.
The best part of the evening for me was watching Agency Galatea male models come out in, as stated on the Shrine website, ‘the world’s finest and most obscure artisan-crafted men’s accessories available to all.’ Check out the four looks below and get some new styling ideas men!
I was delighted to spend the evening with friends new and old. Congratulations to my friends at Luxury Management for producing a highly successful event. Of course, I can’t forget to thank Francis Son of Chicago-Scene.com for sharing his phenomenal photos with me. I also had to snag a photo with TheWorkingWardrobe publisher, Rachel Yeomans, at the event. See below!
My overall take on the event was that I genuinely felt like I had entered the world of luxury, and I sincerely didn’t want it to end. Happy one year anniversary Shrine Haberdashers and Rafik (Owner of Shrine)! Here’s wishing you many, many more years of continued success, heightened luxury and the transformation of the working man’s fashion sense here in Chicago.
