As stated on her website, Eva Daiberl is a “German-born Chicago-based photographer, pastry chef and self-proclaimed style addict.” Her passion for photography, food and style prompted her to launch her blog, MissRenaissance.com, which serves as her personal creative outlet perfectly expressed through her tagline: Life Inspired by Food, Photography and Style. On Wednesday, March 14th, she celebrated the launch at The Violet Hour in Wicker Park.
Guests enjoyed hand-crafted cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and indulged in delectable treats from Lovely Bakeshop. I must say that the coconut macaroons were to die for! I’m still dreaming about them…
Brielle Buchberg and Lindsay Segal were on hand from Luxury Garage Sale to sell upscale consignment items to guests. A portion of the proceeds were donated to the Bottomless Closet, a Chicago-based organization that provides professional clothing, career training and image coaching to women in need.
All-in-all it was an enjoyable evening chalk full of fostering new friendships, seeing familiar faces, shopping luxury consignment, sipping on stellar cocktails and supporting a good cause. Congratulations Eva! From one blog to another, TheWorkingWardrobe wishes you all the best in your future blog endeavors. P.S. – If you find my iPhone photography skills somewhat lackluster, then please check out a stellar album here on the Miss Renaissance website.
