All of the store openings that have been happening in Chicago lately make me feel like an overzealous kid at Christmas time. The fashion in Chicago is being elevated one store opening at a time and it wasn’t any different Friday night when Henri Bendel Chicago opened its doors in Water Tower Place.
The store was jam-packed when we arrived with shoppers sipping on champagne and enjoying a 20% discount special for the store opening. The iconic brown and cream stripes were prevalent everywhere in the chic boutique along with elaborate chandeliers. Rachel and I were there to support Rachel’s friend and new Store Manager, Kristen Koch. Congrats on a successful store opening Kristen!
I walked around the store in awe of all of the luxurious women’s accessories. It was literally like walking around in a dream. I was secretly hoping that I would wake up the next morning to find my closet transformed into a Henri Bendel shop.
The best find of the night was by far Rachel’s leather gloves made with calf hair. No words can express how amazing they were. Talk a look for yourself below.
Even though I am eye-ing two clutches that are must-haves for the very near future, I had to settle on a coffee mug, which every working woman needs to start her day off right by the way.
Henri Bendel will change the way working women in Chicago accessorize. Throw your boring backpacks out the window and go pick up a stylish new bag from Henri Bendel that is guaranteed to fit (literally) all of your working needs, but in a stylish way.
