The second #ChiStyle tweetup kicked off a huge heat wave this sizzling July! And it was even during a Cubs game no less to usher in that true feeling of summertime. On July 14th, the wonderful people at Leahey & Ladue offered up their vintage store space to host this month’s #ChiStyle tweetup! About 30 people came to enjoy wine, cheese and crackers, and 20% off the already fabulous consignment prices!
In addition to the chatting and mingling that Thursday evening, Gordon Dymowski stopped by with items from the Red Cross along with flyers to promote the upcoming Mission Red event in September, of which he’s involved. Here is a picture of Gordon with my dear friend and Speaking of Fashion podcast partner Ryan M. Beshel, publisher of The Bowtie Memoirs (you can see the Red Cross items just behind them).
Thank you to everyone who came out to support local Chicago fashion businesses, and making this event so fantastic and fun! The next #ChiStyle tweetup is just around the corner! Mark down Thursday, August 11th on your calendar, and plan on sauntering over to the fashionable Pilsen neighborhood. More details to come! And in the interim, thank you again Leahey & Ladue, and thank you fellow tweeters and Chicago fashion brethren! Tweet soon!
