BeKnown is a professional networking tool that helps young professionals (or those aspiring to be) by connecting the world of networking to their Facebook pages. BeKnown helps young job seekers develop new professional connections by tapping into the networks of their Facebook friends and allowing them to easily connect, send messages, and see who among their existing contacts is connected to a company or job opportunity they are interested in.

And yes, this app also is on the iPhone (for those of you who are like me and have it glued to your hip at all times).

It’s actually a pretty neat concept. I personally am a LinkedIn and Twitter junkie, and leave Facebook for personal use. But as it is the younger demographic’s network of choice at the time being, it makes sense for them to stay on it for both uses. If you or anyone you know uses the app, I’d be curious to know your thoughts on it! For more information on the application, check it out HERE.

My beauty secret? Mascara. The best way to look awake is with Mascara.

I would say my beauty secret is to be as natural as possible. I have been told less is more so light on the makeup just look fresh and natural the beauty will shine from within.

Subdued but deep colored lipstick perfectly coordinated to my outfit and lined with a lightly darker color to keep it from spreading and accentuate the sensuous shape of my lips!

chapstick! If i'm talking so much during an interview, the last thing I want is my interviewing noticing my chapped and dry lips. I always have 2 tubes of burts bees and a can of Rosebud Salve with me. I'm a balm addict.

Primer is a lifesaver for me. I have oily skin, primer not only keeps a matte look but keeps my makeup looking fresh.

I keep it simple with lip gloss and mascara so they are focused on me and not my make up. #BeKnownBeauty

My interview secret is using a mattifying powder right before I enter the building. I tend to get a little oily when nervous and I never want to let them see me sweat.

I like to wear a really fresh face, but the tip I always remember relates to your scent. I was always told its best to avoid wearing perfume. Maybe the tiniest hint of roll on, but avoid going for eau de toilette.Obviously don't smell bad, but avoid over powering and smelling like the perfume section of a department store :)

Hm. My interview secret, I guess, would be white eyeshadow on the inner corners of my eye, in the faintest v-shape onto my lower and upper lids - just a touch, really. It makes the whites look whiter and opens up the eyes for a bright, youthful, alert look. :)

I think the highlight on the top of the cheekbone is often forgot and makes a HUGE difference. It really makes me feel more positive and warm and brightens up my face.
