Today’s Coveted Working Look: ZAC Zac Posen Eartha Satchel

by Anne Dreshfield | January 15th, 2014

I’ve been on the hunt for a new work bag for quite a while, and I’m glad I waited – because one of my favorite designers in the world, Zac Posen, is bringing a new handbag to Nordstrom for Spring 2014. An American designer who is perhaps most well-known for being a judge on Project Runway, Posen is a powerhouse of a designer, dreaming up everything from gorgeous clothes to accessories and wedding dresses for the modern, just-edgy-enough woman.

The ZAC Zac Posen Eartha Double-Handle Satchel is a beautiful (and affordable!) piece of Posen’s vision. Echoing the trapeze style that was so popular in 2013, the Eartha Satchel is just structured enough to give off powerful vibes, but feminine with its slightly-slouchy sides and glints of gold. I have yet to hold this beauty (it’s available for pre-order at Nordstrom right now!), but I suspect it will be large enough to fit your notebook, a few files, and a book for the train.

For now, this lovely satchel comes in Stone, the nude pictured above and below, and timeless Black. Both colors will fit in perfectly with a work wardrobe, whether you’re in suits for the office or in a more casual environment. The gold hardware ensures that you’re always dressy enough, though, so you can breathe easily and grab this bag when you’re headed out the door.

Love these bags but I purchased one and the hardware (specifically the rivets on the strap, which this bag appears to have identical ones) came off! Terrible quality, would not purchase again.

@style_wire Oh my gosh thank you so much for the feedback! That's such a bummer about the quality of the bag. Were you able to return and get a refund?
