Today’s Coveted Working Look: The Estelle Dress

by Anne Dreshfield | October 24th, 2012

There are days when you just crave something a little more fitted and formal – something timeless, strong, and beautiful. Whenever I imagine those words in relation to my working wardrobe, I immediately think of a sheath dress that will make me feel good whenever I slip it on. Elie Tahari’s Estelle Dress fits the bill perfectly.

What I really love about this dress is the neckline. With just the right amount of geometric appeal, the Estelle dress has a squared-off neckline that is incredibly flattering for a variety of body types. Whether you’re headed to the boardroom, the courtroom, or just to your desk, the Estelle dress will make you feel wonderful while you go. I would pair her with a swept-back hairstyle, some drop earrings, and a swipe of my favorite red lipstick. That’s really all you need!

Love this dress! I just wish I could get some of these designers to drop the cap sleeve to a half sleeve or three quarter so it's winter-friendly in the Windy City!

@marcytwete LOL that's true in most regions I feel (I still think San Francisco is one of the coldest cities I've ever visited)! I don't go anywhere without a cashmere shawl for this reason - I consider it my temperature lifeline.
