Today’s Coveted Working Look: Sheer Pink and White

If you’re anything like me, you might shy away from sheer clothing, especially for work. It can be hard to find a sheer top that is work-appropriate while still retaining the flowing, beautiful appeal of the fabric. Thankfully, we can have the best of both worlds — this Gianetta blouse from Nordstrom is sheer, and still entirely work-appropriate when styled correctly.

The blouse is light, airy, and the contrasting placket adds just the right pop of interest. Pair it with a nude or white camisole underneath, and enjoy the glamor! Trust me, you’ll feel like a movie star all day. My favorite way of styling this top is to pair it with some dark skinny trousers or jeans (if your office allows it), and a pair of knee-high boots. Is it still warm where you are? Buck the rule of no white after Labor Day and wear a pair of crisp white pants. If you’re still hesitant, try pairing the Gianetta blouse with a stunning suit, and tuck it in to emphasize your waist. The pop of pink will be gorgeous under a tailored blazer. The key is to always wear a cami, though!
