Today’s Coveted Working Look: Desk to Dinner Collection

I love the new Desk To Dinner collection from Banana Republic, which focuses on day-to-night style. These outfits are great examples of just how much you can do with a few basic pieces! Use accessories and layers, like blazers and cardigans, and you can stretch your wardrobe without breaking the bank.
Love these looks! I particularly like the navy dress with the blazer layered over it (and a belt over the blazer -- I'd never think of that!). I just bought this dress (http://www.anthropologie.com/anthro/product/clothes-dresses/A24724130.jsp) and I'm looking forward to styling it for work and for play. :)

Likeannedreshfield I adore putting belts over blazers - pretty much anything with a belt I'm all for. ;) And that's almost creepy, Anne, because I was just training a new writer on using Polyvore and I used that exact Anthropologie dress as a reference! It's so cute!

Liketheworkwardrobe I ADORE that dress! I pretty much never buy anything at Anthropologie at full-price, but after I found myself looking at that dress everyday online, I knew I had to have it, full price or no. :) I might just have to get one of the solid color versions on sale, too -- it's such a comfortable, easy dress!
