Today’s Coveted Working Look: Steve Madden ‘Nanncy’ Sandal

by Anne Dreshfield | April 10th, 2013

I’ve recently been on a hunt for summer sandals that are wedges and appropriate for a more casual workplace. Even with the massive selection of wedges out so far this spring, I kept finding wedges that were too tall or simply too casual. I ran across the Steve Madden ‘Nanncy’ Sandal at Nordstrom over spring break a few weeks ago, and every single time I shopped for a pair of sandals I kept thinking about this pair. I finally went back to the store to try them again, and I decided almost instantly that they were the shoes I was looking for all along. I picked them up in the black and brown color, but I’m seriously considering the more casual green and khaki combo!

The Nanncy Sandal has modern, sleek, and stylish color-blocking (you can wear ‘em with so many different outfits!), and is incredibly flattering on the foot. If you work in a more casual environment and are allowed to wear open-toe sandals, head to your nearest Nordstrom and try these sandals on. I could easily see them paired with cropped jeans or chino shorts on the weekends, and with trousers or skirts for the office. I can’t wait for my shoes to arrive (they were popular at the store nearest to me, and my size was sold out!) so I can start pairing them with just about everything in my closet.

For those who are wondering, the Steve Madden Nanncy Sandal runs a half size large. My friend and I both purchased a half size smaller than our regular sizes; make sure you try these on before buying!
