I’m sure you all recognize the dilemma of finding a top that’s nice enough for work but not the dressiest thing in your closet. When I want to reach for a beautiful top for work that makes me feel comfortable and confident, it’s often a silk blouse or something else that might just be the nicest top in my closet. Sometimes it’s nice to find an in between: something that’s nice enough for work but not too nice. There’s definitely a happy medium.
Enter Boden’s Eliza Top, a stunning print top that fits perfectly into this happy medium.
With a silky feel and an exposed zipper down the back, Boden’s Eliza Top is business for the board room, but works perfectly well on the weekends with boyfriends jeans and sandals. I adore the colors of the top, which remind me of long summer days and bright spring mornings. I’d love to wear any of these tops throughout fall or winter, when I need a little reminder that there is indeed color in the world!
Our in-house artists went to great lengths to bring you four hand-painted watercolor prints – all worthy of a place in the Tate.
I love how Boden styled this top with slim black pants and heels for the office – all of the colors work! There’s a reason Boden calls the Eliza top their ‘up for everything’ friend – she’s ready to talk her way into the most worn spot in your wardrobe.
What do you reach for when you’re not sure of what to wear to the office? What’s your favorite “not too dressy, just dressy enough top?” I’m pretty sure Boden’s Eliza top might just take the cake for me.
