Beauty 101: Paul and Joe Nail Polish

by Anne Dreshfield | May 21st, 2014

I’m a nail polish fiend. What first started as a way to keep my hands occupied while I watched TV in college with friends has turned into a full-blown pampering routine that I indulge in once or twice a week. Rather than considering a manicure a chore or an annoying amount of beauty up-keep, I take my time and consider it thirty minutes or an hour to myself. It’s a habit that I’ve gotten quite used to and enjoy (and I save money by doing it myself and not going to a salon!).

That being said, long-lasting nail polishes often have chemicals in them that are not particularly healthy, not to mention the acetone I’m rubbing into my skin and nails twice a week. Enter slightly gentler formulas, like the newly-launched Paul & Joe Enamel line from Paul & Joe Beaute.

Both polishes are formulated with organic plant oils to treat nails and keep them healthy and beautiful – and, music to my ears – has a long-lasting, quick-dry formula for a perfectly even finish.

Here a few of my favorite shades for the office:
