Today’s Coveted Working Look: Assymetrical Black Top and Skirt

by Rachel Yeomans | April 8th, 2013

I know I’ve written many times about trying to veer away from black and add some color to work wear. Well, sometimes we just have to embrace who we are and what color palette makes us the most comfortable (that is until the sunshine makes me want to bring out my yellow shift dress). With that being said, I want to point out the outfit below in all of its black gorgeous glory.

The above top can be worn with just about anything, and makes a great statement with the asymmetrical neckline. It is somewhat sheer, so you may want to wear a tissue camisole underneath it. And with the skirt? Oh the skirt. I have a weakness for draping, and I just adore the length. Then add a leather belt and voila! Hello chic work wear!

Don’t worry, you can add color by wrapping a scarf around your handbag handle.
