Stumbling upon this April, May winter pea coat made me think of the Suno tweed coat I discovered at the Opening Ceremony sample sale that I went to last year in New York. That coat was one of my favorite purchases of the year. It looks distinctively…British. And yes, I did wear it during my London visit last March just to personify my Anglophile habits. Here’s a photo for proof…and come on, isn’t it fabulous?
Which brings me back to this long winter pea coat from April, May. The blazer style is one of my favorites, and the different gray tones give it a unique edge. Also the longer length makes it a good option for when the winds pick up and you need something that covers a bit more body. I don’t feel like I’d see this coat often on the sidewalks, which is all the more reason to snatch it up! (That was the deciding factor on getting both the Suno coat and the one-of-a-kind orange leather jacket with removable tweed sleeves during that same sample sale…it was a dangerous sale.)
Speaking of sale, the April, May coat is on sale as well! It is marked down by 50% and available at Shopbop for $370 (previously $740). Maybe this sale will be a dangerous one for you as well. If you love the coat as much as I love mine from Suno, I promise, it’s worth it.
