The Emanuel Ungaro Spring 2010 Collection Just Couldn’t Work the Office (Nor the Runway)

by Rachel Yeomans | October 6th, 2009

I tried to pick some work looks from the spring collection from the Emanuel Ungaro Paris Fashion Week show. The following would need some serious tweaking for office-level appropriate; and I get that it’s Paris Fashion Week – at times you see full nudity. However in that nudity there still seems to be a level of class to it. I didn’t see much of that in this collection. The hearts replacing the polka dots? The sequin pasties? I admit after seeing it I thought this would be clothing my younger sister would buy on discount, put together wrong, and then go to a mediocre club before she learns and knows better never to make that same mistake again. I hate to continue the mediocre feedback against Lindsay Lohan, but after what I’ve seen thus far from Paris Fashion Week, this collection just didn’t work on the runway nor at the office.
