Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. New York. Prabal Gurung Put the Romance Into the Working Wardrobe With His Fall 2010 Collection

by Rachel Yeomans | February 13th, 2010

Prabal Gurung was one of the designers I was most excited to see during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. And apparently I wasn’t the only one – the infamous Anna Wintour showed up for this up and coming designer’s show of his Fall 2010 collection. And boy was it a show indeed! The asymmetrical sort of ‘cut out’ effects in many of his garments created a fantastic visual statement – especially when it came to giving an edge to the blazer or a statement to the working shift dress. All in all, every piece of clothing was interesting, intriguing and jaw-dropping stunning!
