Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. New York. Marc Jacobs Fall 2010 Collection

by Rachel Yeomans | February 17th, 2010

Leave it to Marc Jacobs to cook up something different in the world of fashion. Also leave it to Jacobs to be spot on with just about everything. Not only were his clothes wearable and extremely gorgeous (no shocker there of course), but instead of giving us something new to play with, he worked his ever-wonderful classics and updated them for the new season. There is something admirable to be said for someone to reinvent their classics, especially in the fashion business when new is always better. Maybe not so anymore. In this new year, I feel that it’s refreshing to have this change. And what better mood music to set it to than his runway soundtrack of  “Somewhere Over the Rainbow“. Oh yes, again, Jacobs is quite usually spot on.
