Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. New York. Lela Rose Texturizes Her Fall 2010 Collection

by Rachel Yeomans | February 16th, 2010

This coming fall, those who wear Lela Rose will be sporting some earthy texture with their working looks. I was very intrigued by her ability to take the basics of black, gray and white and translate them into a very intriguing clothing texture that needs no color to prove interesting. Plus her pairing these items with statement trenches and tops proved ‘pop’ enough in her fall collection for 2010. I especially loved her zip-front cardigan/coat shown below – a fantastic light-weight cover-up that could work as a light jacket for outdoor attire and also prove perfectly acceptable (and of course fashionable) as a ‘blazer’ coverup in the office!
