Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. New York. Cynthia Rowley Will Glamorize the Workplace With Her Fall 2010 Collection, and Her Business Acumen Would No Doubt Get Her a Raise

by Rachel Yeomans | February 13th, 2010

I have always loved the designs of Cynthia Rowley, and her Fall 2010 collection was absolutely no exception. Her colors and draping were absolutely lovely and she of course showcased her signature shift design in a brilliant blue pattern with a statement skinny red belt. Below are my favorite ensembles that I would love to wear to the office. Rowley also showed some ingenious business sense during her show. The designer partnered with the Gagosian Shop and offered arty limited-edition duplicates of her looks, which were available that same evening. Many articles have been published stating that individuals are becoming too impatient to wait until the season comes around to purchase items from the collection. Perhaps Rowley has opened up another door for her business? Either way, I wouldn’t mind being on that ‘pre-order’ list.
