Marithe and Francois Girbaud are known for their fun youthful looks, and the spring 2010 collection was no exception. And the best part was that not only were the clothes fun, the attitude was as well. I have never thought much about the demeanor of fashion shows, but it was quite a relief seeing jubilant characteristics and large smiles skipping down the runway during Paris Fashion Week. Then I thought how wonderful it would be to carry that same change of demeanor into the workplace. The office is usually a serious environment meant to get work done, as can be expected, just as models strutting down the runway are always meant to look serious. Who says that has to always be the case? Especially since some pieces from the Marithe + Francois Girbaud collection could easily be transitioned into the workplace, all with a bit of a fun edge to them of course.
